Independent, The (London) - Go campaigns on `BA propaganda’
GO, THE discount airline British Airways sold last week, yesterday launched an internet campaign in response to what it called the “propaganda” of its former parent. Go’s website said it would offer flights this weekend at up to half the price of BA’s fares. “The best place to find truly low-cost flights is still here at Go; don’t be taken in by British Airways’ latest propaganda,” Go said on the site.
BA said its service and flexible schedules set it apart from “no- frills” carriers. “We’re not trying to be the cheapest in the market, we’re trying to offer the best value,” a spokesman said.
